NIKKOR AF-S 58/1.4G

Mandatory visit to DigiExpo fair today. Got my hands on the coming new Nikkor 58mm lens and quickly tested it. This is interesting lens as its meant to deliver best possible image quality for the standard (50mm or so) focal length. Sharpness and contrast should be optimal aperture fully open and very pleasing looking bokeh coming from rounded 9-blade diaphragm.

DigiExpo

Traditional visit to DigiExpo exhibition, Helsinki. More chaotic experience than before. Took some time to find camera, games and other electronics from the ski & skate stuff that were dominating the event. In the  picture Canon EOS C500 with CN-E 24mm T1.5 L F Cine Lens. Professional 4K video camera, for people who think HD is passé.

Nikon 1 J1 & Digiexpo

Nikon J1 with 10-30mm from Digiexpo. I have mixed opinions about Digiexpo. This year it felt to be even more filled with people. Lots of companies not represented there at all but in the other hand some good discounts, interesting guest speakers and possibility to see & test new toys.

Quickly checked the Nikon 1 J1 & V1 cameras. Not sure if they are suitable for what I need from cameras, but would like to test one with more time to get proper opinion about them. Pink lenses for this system might become collector items :)
