Nally inspired setup used in this outdoor location. Nikon SB-80DX with smallest Ezybox and diffusion panel from Lastolite placed front of it. Super portable and soft light but running out of juice quickly when competing against the sunny ambient. Those three layers of diffusion fabrics are eating lots of power, meaning that I had to use the flash on max or near max power. And that shows with long recycle times, which is something you don't want to happen when taking photos of people. Once some manufacturer makes strobe that can spit out constantly 1200ws of light and still be compact size, that will be high on my purchase list.


Another location using just the ambient light + diffusion fabric between it to turn it softer. You can see the difference in light by comparing the light on model's face and left hand. Diffusion fabric works really well during the summer months in Finland, after that we don't pretty much see the sun anymore :)
