Studio shoot with Lumia 1020
This was really interesting experiment with Ari to take photos with Lumia 1020 using studio flashes to create the lighting and stop motion. There is so much that can be done with the amazing camera of Lumia 1020 both for still & video productions.
"Flash deflector", made from cardboard & tape. It was used to direct the in Lumia flash light to slave flash that was set to mode where it ignored preflash. Then the slave flash fired to trigger the studio flashes again via optical sensor that created the light for actual photo. Deflector also helped to prevent Lumia flash to affect the final exposure. Camera Grip was used to attach Lumia to tripod.
Video about the shoot showing some setups, behind the scenes footage, camera settings and then more info how it was done.
