Arpeneum
Fashion shoot at Arpeneum museum with Marko O. Museum worked as great location for taking photos of the different evening dresses.
Setup: Elinchrom Ranger Quadra RX with reflector & grid camera left up. Skyport for triggering.
Setup: We used three different flash systems together for this setup. Profoto AcuteB with disc reflector & silver umbrella cam right as key light. Elinchrom Quadra with reflector + grid model back left as light rim. Nikon SB-80DX for background model back left. PWs & sensor for triggering.
Here the key light was AcuteB with 5' octa.
Just ambient light from windows (sunny day)
We tested & used other Marko's brand new Elinchrom ECO ringlash. Nice light modifier with compact size & weight. I was close to buy ECO + Quadra but having two different flash systems is not that convenient. It would mean carrying different modifiers, batteries, cables etc.
This was taken with ECO ringflash on camera.
ECO ringflash setup for above photo. Snap on diffusion cap for ringflash shown on photo. Comes with the ring.
Ranger Quadra + head with grid. Compact but still powerful flash system. Elinchrom recently announced that there is new Lithium battery coming for Quadra system. 1 kilo lighter and 100% more flashes compared to older lead battery. Makes this even better for location work.
