Fear of Domination

From Fear of Domination band's promo shoot with post apocalyptic theme. Hellmet character was once again featured to the set.

This was taken at the cool looking metallic cage structure some meters above the stage. Great location for the futuristic theme but difficult to work as there was only one narrow path leading to the structure. I had assistant right behind me holding the stand & flash. It was also very dark place (hard to find focus with AF) but once again modeling light of AcuteB saved the day. Setup photo and more pictures after the jump.

Cut&Paste Helsinki

From Cut&Paste design tournament. 2D & 3D design in 20 minutes. Impressive work from the competitors considering the time limit. Noticed that quite many of the competitors used Wacom or similar tablets. Congrats to the winners!

Out of lights

Some music gigs are easier to photograph than others. Cat Power playing at Helsinki, Circus. Combination of artist's wishes for press photography and her lighting show, which could be described as scarce, made it really challenging to photograph. Took about 10 frames and decided that rest of concert I can spend just enjoying her music.
